Every month, Love Covers shares the love of Jesus with women working in Austin’s adult entertainment clubs, through gift bags and handwritten notes freely given with no strings attached.

Who the bags are for

Worthy of being seen, valued, respected, and loved exactly as she is.

Women working in adult entertainment clubs in the Austin area.

We come with no judgment, no expectations, and no desire to change anyone through our own efforts. Instead, we seek to reflect the heart of Jesus by showing up with compassion, honoring each woman's God-given dignity, and loving her as Christ loves us, with grace, gentleness, and a love that asks for nothing in return.

We never photograph or identify the women we serve.

How a bag gets to her

Personal, every single month.

Every bag is filled, and every note written, by hand.

  1. Donated

    Local businesses and neighbors give new products, from full-size favorites to socks and drinks.

  2. Packed

    Volunteers fill small accessory bags with personal care items and a few treats.

  3. Written

    Every bag gets a handwritten note. It's the part the women keep.

  4. Delivered

    Leah brings each bag into the clubs herself, in person, with nothing asked in return.

Our story

It started on a walk.

Two years ago, Leah Carr was out on a walk when she felt the Holy Spirit put these women on her heart. Soon after, she began buying gifts with her own money, packing them herself and carrying them into the clubs.

Love Covers began as Leah’s response to God’s love in her own life, and her desire is simply to be His hands and feet. There’s no sermon in the bag and no invitation to church. Just kindness, freely given, right where each woman is.

As friends and neighbors have joined in, the bags have multiplied. Leah still delivers every one.
