Our story
It started on a walk.
Love Covers began as Leah’s response to God's love in her own life. Two years on, every bag is still packed by hand and delivered in person.
Leah’s walk
Two years ago, Leah Carr was out on a walk when she felt the Holy Spirit put these women on her heart. Soon after, she began buying gifts with her own money, packing them herself and carrying them into the clubs.
Love Covers began as Leah’s response to God’s love in her own life, and her desire is simply to be His hands and feet. There’s no sermon in the bag and no invitation to church. Just kindness, freely given, right where each woman is.
As friends and neighbors have joined in, the bags have multiplied. What began with Leah’s own money is now supported by friends and community members who believe in it, and that support is growing. Leah still delivers every one.
About Leah
Leah Carr is the founder of Love Covers. She is a wife and mom of two boys, and she started Love Covers on her own, buying and packing every bag herself. The handwritten notes and her personal visits are the heart of the gift. She delivers every bag in person and always will.

Why “Love Covers”
What the name means to Leah
The name comes from a verse in 1 Peter 4:8, about love being bigger than anything that might divide us. To us it means love that covers each woman, no conditions. Leah tells it best in her own words.

Our mission
Love Without Conditions.
Every woman is created in God’s image, worthy of dignity and respect, and deeply loved by Him.
Our mission is to share the love of Jesus with women in the adult entertainment industry through thoughtful monthly gifts, freely given with no strings attached.
We believe every woman is deeply loved by God, created in His image, and worthy of being seen, valued, respected, and loved exactly as she is. Through simple acts of generosity and genuine connection, we hope to brighten her day, encourage her heart, and remind her that she is never forgotten by the One who loves her most.
We come with no judgment, no expectations, and no desire to change anyone through our own efforts. Instead, we seek to reflect the heart of Jesus by showing up with compassion, honoring each woman's God-given dignity, and loving her as Christ loves us, with grace, gentleness, and a love that asks for nothing in return.
Because Jesus loves unconditionally. He sees beyond circumstances, looks beyond labels, and meets every woman with grace and compassion. Our desire is simply to be His hands and feet, sharing His love freely and reminding every woman that she is seen, she matters, and she is deeply loved by Him.
How we work
No strings, ever.
- Nothing is asked in return, and there is no pressure to attend church.
- Every bag gets a handwritten note. It's the part the women keep.
- Leah delivers every bag in person and always will.
- We never photograph or identify the women we serve.
- Love Covers is an independent, faith-based volunteer group, not part of a church. You don't need to share our faith to give.
Looking ahead
Where we hope to go
Today, Love Covers serves women working in Austin’s adult entertainment clubs. In the future, Leah hopes to extend the same care to women at risk of trafficking and women experiencing homelessness. These are plans, not current work, and they will grow as the community around Love Covers grows.
Love Covers is a volunteer group filing for 501(c)(3) status. Donations are not tax-deductible at this time.
